Australian Jack Doohan had a remarkable 2017 season in OK-Junior with the RFM team. 6th in the WSK Super Master Series, he was on the CIK-FIA Junior European Championship podium after winning the Kristianstad Final. He was again among the protagonists at the CIK-FIA World Junior Championship at PFI and finished 6th out of 94 participants. He then made his debut in OK at the WSK Final Cup. His progression and his promising talent within the Ricky Flynn team have been noticed and his career is now moving towards cars with the Red Bull Junior Team.

At PFI during the World Championship Philippe Kalmès captured the exceptional relationship between Jack and his father, Michael Doohan, the five-time motorcycle World Champion in 500cc. This image, taken in the RFM awning, enabled him to win the trophy for the best photo of the year for the fifth time on Saturday, 2nd December at the CIK-FIA awards ceremony.
